The main themes of this meeting are: 1) Molecular mechanisms of lipid droplet biogenesis, turnover, function, and regulation by intracellular lipid trafficking; 2) Emerging research and technologies that advance the capacity to observe and manipulate lipid droplets to regulate physiology; 3) The roles of lipid droplets in diseases such as cancer, liver dysfunction, diabetes, aging, and as targets for innovative therapies.

Conference sessions will present the latest research findings and provide engaging discussion on:

In addition to opening and closing keynote addresses by Tobias Walther, PhD (Harvard University), this conference will feature approximately 20 talks, one poster session and one career development session "From Trainee to Faculty".
