Program

The main themes of the meeting are: 1) Explore physiological signaling and metabolic control by amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids; 2) Examine physiological and pathophysiological alterations in nutrient sensing and signaling that lead to disease; 3) Discuss alterations in nutrient sensing and signaling with aging and development.

Conference sessions will present the latest research findings and foster engaging discussion on:
  • Amino acid signaling pathways
  • Nutrient signaling across the life cycle
  • Metabolic signaling
  • Interaction of nutrient and exercise sensing pathways
In addition to the opening Keynote lecture from Laurie J. Goodyear, PhD (Harvard Medical School and Joslin Diabetes Center), the conference will include four interactive oral sessions, two poster sessions, and a “Meet the Experts” session.
