The meeting’s main themes are: 1) Explore the role of trace elements in health and disease; 2) Highlight emerging research in metal homeostasis and metal interactions in mammals and model organisms.

Conference sessions will present the latest research and foster discussion on:

This conference will feature keynote addresses by Brent Stockwell, PhD (Columbia University) and Sabeeha Merchant, PhD (University of California, Berkeley), eight oral sessions, three poster sessions, and a career development session, "Industry, Academia, Government: Factors That Can Influence Your Path."
